Process of Knitwear Production
Winding
The yarn is wound onto cones or bobbins to ensure smooth and consistent feeding into the knitting machines, preventing breakages during production.
Jacquard / Knit
The fabric is knitted using circular or flat knitting machines, incorporating Jacquard patterns or plain structures based on the design requirements.
Light Check
The fabric is examined under bright lighting to identify any knitting defects, such as holes or uneven stitches, ensuring a flawless final product.
Mending
Any detected defects, like minor holes or loose stitches, are manually repaired to maintain the fabric’s quality and appearance.
Linking
Individual knitted panels, such as sleeves and body pieces, are joined together with precision using linking machines, ensuring seamless and strong connections.
Sewing
The assembled knitwear pieces are stitched together using specialized sewing machines, ensuring a strong and durable structure.
Trimming
Loose threads and excess fabric edges are carefully trimmed to enhance the garment’s neatness and prepare it for the finishing process.
Light Lamp
Manual garment knit checking involves visually inspecting fabric under a light tube to identify defects like holes, stains, or uneven knitting for quality control.
Washing
The garments undergo a washing process to remove any impurities, soften the fabric, and achieve the desired texture and finish.
Ironing
Steam ironing is performed to smooth out wrinkles, set the garment’s shape, and provide a crisp, polished look.
PQC
The finished garment undergoes a thorough quality check, ensuring it meets required standards in stitching, fabric quality, and overall appearance.
Packing
Each garment is neatly folded, packed in polybags or boxes, and labeled according to size, color, and customer specifications.
Warehouse
The final packed goods are stored in a controlled environment, ready for dispatch to retailers or customers.
